In the First part of Excel tutorial's you are going to learn what is Spreadsheet? and what they can do. Yo will get Microsoft Excel Software how it works. Yo will also learn about cell coordinates rows and columns, and how to enter a data into cells. So let's Start our Excel.

What is a Spreadsheet?

Spread is a Piece of software for handling and manipulating numbers. You can write down numbers on any paper and add them like this.

But that's not a spread sheet.The best part about a spread sheet is yo don't have to do any adding up yourself. The program will adding the number up for you.

A spread sheet not only adding it will do all the arithmetic calculations, financial calculations , statistical information and complex trigonometry and also do pretty graph for you.

Usage 

A spreadsheet consists of rows and columns referred by X and Y. Normally X locations are columns represented by A,B,C,D . . . etc... Y locations are rows represented by 1,2,3,4.....etc.

No we look at once what is Cell ?

A "Cell" is like box for holding data. A Single cell referenced by row and its column. Below image shows the data which in cells .

An array of Cells is called a Sheet. In most implementations many worksheets may be located with in a single Spreadsheet.
